Respect In Sport - Parent Online Course
At least one parent/guardian of a hockey family will need to complete the Respect In Sport - Parent (RIS-P) online training module required by the Hockey Alliance of Ontario.

This course must be taken once per hockey family; the certificate never expires.

All minor hockey associations must have parents/guardians complete this course.

You may have done this in the past for another child of yours. If so, log into the Alliance website to add your children to your account.
1) If You Have Never Completed The RIS-P Course:
If you have never completed this course, you must create an account and complete the online course. This course is designed to be taken at your own pace and will take about 1 hour to complete. There is a cost of $12.
Click the link below to log into the Respect In Sport - Parent website. Note that the account differs from the HCR Spordle account you use to register your child to play hockey at HMHIP.
If you don't have an account, click New To This Program.
Coaches: This is different than the Respect in Sport - Activity Leader course that you have also taken

Follow the instructions on the website to complete the course. Once completed, be sure to add any children to your account by following the example in Step 3
2) If You Have Already Completed the RIS-P Course:
Click the link below to log into the Respect In Sport - Parent website. Note that the account differs from the HCR Spordle account you use to register your child to play hockey at HMHIP.

If you have an account, you will see a screen similar to the example below. If you have the Certified Badge on the Right side of your dashboard, similar to the example below, you have already completed the Respect In Sport - Parent module. Please see Step 3 to add all of your children to your profile.
3) To Add a Child To Your RIS-P Profile
To add another child or all your other children, Click the Profile Information Tab and then the Child Management Tab. You should see all the children you have associated with your Account. If you have another child you need to associate, click the Add Child Button and fill in the pop-up form.
Once you add your child, the HCR system will automatically update your child's Respect In Sport - Parent qualification.
